T-Ball is the foundation of every future baseball/softball player's career. Team focus on understanding the basics of the game, having fun and making new friends. Our goal is for each child to learn the correct skills for batting, throwing and catching to encourage their passion for baseball/softball. All practices and games are held at Macken Park. Practices begin the first week of May. Fees include jersey, hat and trophy.

105007 - Coach Pitch (7-9)
Ages 7-9 by May 1
Players will learn to hit the ball as it is being pitched from a coach and cooperate as a team to earn runs and outs. The primary goal is to prepare your child for the next level of play. Practices are held at Macken Park and begin the first week of May. Games will be played at Macken Park and Happy Rock Softball Complex. Fees include jersey, hat and trophy.

Kid Pitch baseball is the final step in our recreation program toward preparing players for competitive play. Players are introduced to other players pitching and incorporate all their skills from batting, throwing and fielding. Your child will completely understand the essence of baseball/softball after completing the season. Practices are held at Macken Park and begin the first week of May. Games will be played at Macken Park and Happy Rock Softball Complex. Fees include jersey, hat and trophy.

105011 - Pitch, Hit, and Run
Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit, and Run is a FREE event that tests three of the most fundamental aspects of baseball and softball - Pitching, Hitting, and Running:
Pitch: Participant is tested throwing strikes to a designated Strike Zone target.
Hit: Participant hits a ball off a stationary tee for distance and accuracy.
Run: Participant is timed, starting from second base, touching third then touching home plate.
All of the events are individually scored and converted to a total point score through the use of conversion tables.
Participants will compete in each of the three components of Major League Baseball Pitch, Hit, and Run and accumulate total score based on his/her performance. Winners will move on to Regionals and continued success can lead to a chance to compete in Nationals.
